Lattafa
The house that made Arabian perfumery legible to the rest of the world.

Lattafa takes its name from the Arabic latif — gentle, pleasant. It was founded in the mid-1990s by Shaikh Shahid Ahmed, at a moment when the Gulf market was turning toward European houses, on the contrarian bet that Arabic perfumery could be made for a modern audience without being diluted for one.
Three decades later it is one of the most widely worn perfume houses in the world, manufactured in the Emirates and distributed across more than sixty markets. Its signatures — Asad, Yara, Khamrah, Bade’e Al Oud — are the fragrances that introduced oud, amber and saffron to a generation who had never encountered them.
For a distributor the appeal is unusual: campaign photography and packaging built to a level normally reserved for luxury houses, sitting on a price architecture that moves genuine volume.
